The Central California Orchid Society 2007 Greenhouse Tour

Yolanda is one of our members who doesn't have a greenhouse, but that doesn't stop her from growing beautiful orchids. She uses this structure located on the east side of her home for summer shade and a clear plastic tent-like enclosure for the winter. She uses a small portable heater for the cold winter nights we can have here in the Central Valley.

Pat and Chuck have created an outside Vanda house for the long warm growing season we have in the Central Valley of California. The Vandas just love all that heat. In the winter months they move the Vandas into their greenhouse.

Sue's 'Orchids and Gardens' greenhouse holds a varieties of orchids which supplies Sue's retail orchid business. Sue also has a passion for species and successfully grows many unusual ones.

Robert and Fay's greenhouse contains a rich assortment of orchids grown for pure pleasure and the delight of all who visit there.
